The parts have finally shipped! Kit construction should begin next week.

Finally received notification from distribution that the parts should ship second week of April. I received information from the manufacturer and am negotiating a direct purchase agreement for future orders. This will not help this batch but if there is a future batch after this one, there should be a significant improvement regarding purchase and ship times.
Kit Batch Status – 03-18-2026
Continuation – Progress halted due to part shipment delays. No official word from distribution regarding delay reasons. FTDi shipments to distribution appears to be delayed as well. I have reached out to FTDi representatives to see if they can provide any insight into when parts are expected to ship to distribution. Used my work credentials as my full-time employer utilizes several of their chipsets in a couple of different product lines. I hope to hear that this is just a temporary delay and that things will move shortly.
Due to the supplier delays, distribution is now showing a shipment date of 08-13-2026 for new orders placed. If no word is received within the next week, I will look into redesigning the PGK hardware around an alternate part. (This will require changing the Karma Commander application for device auto-detection functionality. My hope is that this isn’t necessary as I have 196 boards just waiting on these parts and I dislike contributing to e-waste.)
